Im 15 years old and going to be 16 in 3 weeks and was wondering how i can become a rally driver. i live in glasgow in scotland. I am not rich but could have up to ten grand to fund it. In addition i know that i need to get a national b license then a national a. But what i am wondering is how can i get into the profesional rallies. I aim to get into the wrc when im older but need help

You have to be 17, with a full driving license to be a rally driver at higher levels in the UK. You can driver on rallycross tracks, which are part tarmac, part mud/gravel tracks. But you won't be able to rally legally yet. You need to be 17 to do road rallies. I suppose you can go in a field somewhere... Co driver must be 12 years old or above.



There is a story on there about a 15 year old who made it happen.

im 16 and my dad is a rally driver but he isn't very famous for it but ik my dad never rally practiced using go-kart etc. he loves his cars when he was young he join a rally club there are normally ones in your local area and there are lodes of people who love there cars and would love to navigator.

you need to start at the bottom and do some go-kart racing or jalopy racing and you need way more than ten grand and you need to be winning every race even to get noticed

volunteer at smaller series and venues. prepare like hell and put yourself out there.
