Besides being a political mess, F-1 is ostensibly the best of the best. Those who can't cut it get cut. Plain and simple. It's nothing more or less than a business decision.

Kimi hasn't exactly set the world on fire this season, but I think it's a little premature to count him down and out. He would never have been a champion if he wasn't cut from the right bolt of cloth. The tides of fortune (both good and bad) ebb and flow all the time. If you don't like the way things are going today, stick around a day or week or two and see what happens. I predict he'll recover. However, his 'Iceman' personality and monotone speaking manner is a little boooring..
I'm always right.

Consider this:

1. Maybe Kimi wants to go to another team that can figure out the right amount of fuel to put in the car and qualify for the second and third sessions?

2. Who said Alonso is stupid enough to go to Ferrari? Right now Ferrari is in total chaos. They were like that before they hired some guy named Ross Brown, Braun. Anyway, whaterever happened to Ross? I think he would be a good team owner some day.

Frankly, i'm surprised Ferrari expected anything of someone so lackadaisical and paying him £30mil for the privilege!

IMHO, 2007 was the year the Championship was lost by McLaren's drivers and not won by Kimi He has been a lazy, inefficient and one of the most bored looking drivers ever since. If i had him in my car and then looked at Alonso, i know how I'd go. It is similar to the Alesi/Berger teaming at Ferrari that was so dreadfully snug and unproductive, they got in Schumacher.

Alonso is what Ferrari could do with, and, in a sick twist of fate, Hamilton would be a spicy team mate!! hehe

I'll be pissed as well...

Everyone must've saw how much of a baby Alonso was when he moved to Mclaren in 2007...

Sure Raikkonen may have been in his thongs sucking an ice cream at Sepang but remember HE RETIRED!!

My favorite driver is Kimi. But a team has to do what they feel is best. Alonso is arguably the best driver in F1. Why wouldn't they try to get him?

Why, Kimi has done hee-haw this season. i'm sure you saw the same pictures as i did at Sepang, went the other professional drivers were still in their cars, he was in his feckin flip-flops, sucking on an ice lolly.

Bring on ALONSO :)

Kimi will soon be fired from Ferrari because he is a self centered SOB...
